They made it to the Madness!

This past Saturday, Cornell's men's basketball team did the unimaginable and capped off an undefeated regular season in the Ivy League. Since the Ivies don't have a conference tournament, the Big Red win the conference outright and have an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament. How great is that? Remember to pick them in your office pools. I can smell the upset already.

Cornell has a basketball team?

Maybe they just gave ten scholarships to the tallest kids they could find at I.C.

And there's something vaguely unsettling about the bear in the logo.

Do the conference proud, yo.
FYI- The Ivies don't give athletic scholarships, so all the players pay for school or are on regular financial aid.

You think they'll play Notre Dame? You'd HAVE to bet me for that game.

Go Irish!

The Cornell womens' basketball team won the Ivy League championship as well and is headed to the NCAA Women's Tournament. This is unprecedented!

Oof. At least it wasn't on TV.
