"I'm struck by the narcissism and banality of so many personal blogs." - Blaise Cronin, Professor and Dean, Information Science, Indiana University. Is corn the most banal thing possible? Certainly it's not narcissistic to think about and talk about corn. Perhaps I skew 100% banal, 0% narcissistic, then. So here it is - some thoughts about corn. Enjoy. It's nutritious!

Duh! Porn!
Charming - not really that relaxing, though.
maybe it is cyclical---like your personality I hear.
El chocolate, my friend....el chocolate. Strange how that would be, since it's got caffeine in it, but most of the time, it does the trick.
Going to the gym might help, too, and it'll counteract those chocolate calories to boot!
I don’t know if you are still a tightly wound coil, but I have found the stretching helps quite a bit myself, especially holding a neck stretch (tilting your head to one side) for a couple of minutes rather than seconds. Stretching my neck loosens not only the neck muscles which are tight from grimacing or clenching my jaw in frustration, it loosens muscles all the way into my shoulders and up my scalp. ALSO! If you do clench your jaw, try holding your mouth in the Scream position, wide as you can, for about thirty seconds, and feel the wonderful difference of flexing your muscles in a different direction! You don’t have to be a yoga master to do these stretches, or even move your bum from your chair, but they help sooo much!
Well thanks, random blogosphere person - most of my in-chair stretches involve leaning backwards to stretch out my back (curse this lifelong battle with poor posture), but I should try some of your suggestions too.
